Sailor-collared seifuku with humongous gravity-defying sleeves. This cosplay was tailored out of a fitted dress shirt pattern to make a front-zip cosplay that was easy to get in and out of. With how big these sleeves are, I tend to scuttle sideways through doors.

Utena’s been one of my favorite magical girl-adjacent series for a long time. I always thought I’d cosplay Utena first, but being Nanami is so much fun, especially when you can hand out eggs for an Easter con. This non-competition build was fun to play with and figure out how to make a ridiculously 90s shoujo uniform humanly possible.
