Patterns

This page includes all the patterns, designs, and images I’ve used to make various cosplays. Many of these are images that I traced in a vector program to create cut file. Others were printed out to create sewing pieces, foam pieces, or other pieces used in construction.

For the most part, everything here is as-is. I’ve used them, so they work, but they may be scaled to my particular size. I’m 5’6 so you can use that for scaling. Some of them are pretty old, so I don’t have enough photos to write a tutorial. However, if I did, then I’ve linked the tutorial instead of the image files.

Everything here is free to use. Please don’t repost them as your own, and a link back is always appreciated! These images are huge. Click on them to see a larger size and you can download it from there. If you like the files, feel free to drop a coin or two over on my support page to help host this site!

Tutorials with patterns

Collar accent

Gold accent along the collar of the halter dress. I have a wide neck, so you may need to shorten this for your design.

Dress accents

These accents are gold details along the bottom of the dress in the front and back. All of these were cut out of metallic stretch HTV to work with the stretchy dress. They are sized to my body, but they could be scaled to yours!

Flowers

She has a bunch of flowers around her outfit. You could honestly use these for any Adrift event outfit. Mine are made with a painted thermoplastic base with pressure sensitive vinyl (PSV) details. Here are my flowers for the PSV sized for each location.

Underbust design

A scalloped design that travels along the bustline. I cut this out of stretch HTV and curved it around the bustline

Thunderbolt Fantasy

Lang Wu Yao (concept art)

I used these templates to cut out stencils, which I used to add designs with Shiva Paintstiks. To see the final result and what I used them for, check out these tutorials:

You can also check out the results on my gallery page, Lang Wu Yao (concept art).

Sleeve flames

These sleeve flames trail up and down the opening of the large pipa bell sleeves. I used this in the Scribbling with Shiva Paintstiks tutorial.

Shirt design

The stencil I used for the innermost shirt in the Stenciling with Shiva Paintstiks tutorial.
