Bucciarati, aka crime dad or mafia mom, required a lot of wild tailoring and experimentation. But such is JoJo cosplay honestly. His suit with a giant window is tailored with shoulder pads and sleeve head rolls to give it a very broad JoJo look. The zippers and hair accents were key to making this cosplay work. And to pull it off, it was time to yank some teeth out of metal zippers and press each comma shape into the fabric.

Competition info

I have only competed once with Bucciarati as a walk-on/display entry for SakuraCon 2024. I had the honor of being the last entry to close the show with a bang and struck 40 poses in 20s on the end of a runway. For SakuraCon, a display entry was a time to strut your stuff and entertain the audience, so naturally I went all out and brought JoJo to the stage.
