I’ll be the first to admit that I did not like Teá in the 4kids dub. Then I read the manga and immediately fell for Anzu Masaki, the best friend who always wants you to succeed and isn’t afraid to verbally stomp Kaiba into the ground.

I debated on what outfit to cosplay and got really lucky at a thrift store one day, finding a spandex sleeveless shirt in bright 90s anime green. I modified this outfit very little, only swapping the collar to a yellow one. I’ve cosplayed this outfit for a few years now, and I change the wig, belt, and bracelets depending on what I find in my closet at the time. This is easily my most worn thrifted cosplay.

I also added an actual Duel Disk. I bought this on clearance back in the early 2000s when Walmart was desperately trying to get rid of these toys that just weren’t really popular.

Items I used:

• Green sleeveless shirt with modified collar
• Budget wig
• Random bracelets, either thrifted or from Walmart
• Belt I have
• Thrifted jean shorts with the cuffs rolled up
• Socks and sandals I own
