Captain Falcon is such a cheater in Super Smash but it made him incredibly fun to play against the computer (and sometimes friends). When we decided on creating a Super Smash skit, I naturally wanted to go with the pink and white version. Far too much fun not to.

This cosplay is assembled from thrifted materials:

• A white bedsheet
• Baseball pants
• Baseball helmet with ball pit balls glued to the side
• Pink gardening gloves
• Soccer shin guards covered with pink shower curtain fabric
• Pink watersocks (I do not recommend wearing these to a con
• Top of a shower curtain (belt)
• Sash borrowed from Marth cosplay (scarf)
• Nintendo light gun in a pouch made of tablecloth

Competition info

Our skit was about as hodge podge as our cosplays. It was a variety skit of Super Smash characters getting in weird situations and just dunking on the series and ourselves. It was such chaos, we were awarded the Wildcard award, which is YaoiCon’s award for “whatever this is, we like it.”
