I am a sucker for Keiichi Okabe and MONACA music. I played NieR way back when it originally released, playing as Brother Nier, and it stabbed me in the heart. Naturally, I needed the piano score as well. This book not only features a good selection of the OST. It also has 5 tracks from the Nightmare & Arrange Tracks album.

Inside the book is a message from Yoko Taro, profiles for the music team, and 3 pages of playing tips individually for each song. Each section is separated by the album cover. There are only a few images dabbled between scores to make sure each score starts on the left page. And in the back is all the lyrics to “Ashes of Dreams” written in English.

And if you’re bad at kanji like me, all the song titles are written in both English and Japanese, making it easy to find the song you want.
