Shadowbringers is still my favorite expansion in FFXIV and when I first encountered the Exarch, I really wanted to cosplay him (even before learning his name). So I set out to do something a little crazy. I bought a vinyl cutter and portable heat press and created my own patterns for the cutter mostly out of construction paper I scanned in then vector traced. The staff was my first attempt at a full-height staff with the head made of foam and even years later, the thing is still holding together.

I competed at KumoriCon 2019 with my sister as Y’shtola Rhul. Together we did a simple walk-on and had fun sharing the stage together.
